Linh Noodle Bar - Vietnamese Essence. Modern Craft.

Established in August 2014 on West 4th Avenue, Linh Café was founded with a simple vision: to bring together the elegance of French cuisine with the warmth and comfort of traditional Vietnamese cooking.

After seven wonderful years in Kitsilano, we proudly relocated to our new home at 1428 Granville Street in the Beach District in September 2021, continuing our journey with the same passion and dedication.

As we celebrate over a decade of hospitality, we are delighted to introduce our sister concept: Linh Noodle Bar

Linh Noodle Bar was created to bring the spirit of traditional Vietnamese dining into a refined, modern setting.

The interior draws inspiration from Indochine art and design - a meeting of Vietnamese heritage and French architectural influence. Warm wood, rich colours, decorative patterns and carefully crafted details create an atmosphere that feels nostalgic yet contemporary. Elements inspired by tranh Đông Hồ, Vietnam’s traditional folk paintings, bring another layer of cultural identity through their storytelling, symbolism and lively sense of everyday Vietnamese life.

This same balance between tradition and modernity defines the food.

At the heart of Linh Noodle Bar are the dishes Vietnamese families have enjoyed for generations: carefully prepared phở, comforting noodle dishes, rice, salads and small plates made for sharing. The recipes respect their traditional foundations, while thoughtful ingredients, modern techniques and refined presentation allow guests to experience them in a fresh way.

Our goal is not to change Vietnamese food into something unrecognizable. It is to preserve its soul while presenting it with modern craftsmanship, in a room where history, art, food and hospitality come together.
